Do you want a chamfer tool with a sharp point or a flat at the bottom?

Fopr a sharp point create an end mill with a tip angle very simple. For a flat bottom tool create a taper angle. In most cases you may want to add a holder to the tool.

\____/ <- TOOL

You can use these tools in any operation Planar mill, fixed or variable contour etc.

For a simple 2D chamfer use planar mill and make sure the boundary is at the top of the chamfer. Make the floor where you want the bottom of the tool to be and ue a profile pass.
