I am trying to model an artery using a user defined hyperelastic model. I have modified the user routines and I would like to link them to ANSYS using shared libraries. (I am trying to avoid linking the custom routines into the ANSYS program itself.) The "ANSYS online manual release 5.5" says that it involves using external commands but there is no link to the URL.

Can someone help me find a resource to use this particular feature of ANSYS? Thank you.

Thanks for the tip, pja. However, I need to view the last link on the webpage you posted; the one that says "Appendix A External Commands". For some reason, I can't view this last link. (The "Guide to User Programmable Features" explains that the shared libraries is discussed starting in Appendix A)

Does anyone know I can access this "Appendix A"?

Thanks.

I think that link is broken for everybody unfortunately. If you type in ANSYS UPF I think you may be able to find a similar page which has APPENDIX A.
