Hi everyone,
I'm working on producing cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE) using LDPE mixed with a small amount of HDPE and DCP as the cross-linking agent. However, I'm encountering deformation issues with the LDPE after cross-linking. I've adjusted the temperature profile and considered adding HDPE to improve rigidity, but the problem persists. Can anyone offer advice on optimizing the formulation or processing conditions to reduce deformation and improve the surface quality of the final product? Any insights on compatibilizers or additives that could help would also be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
