Hi,

How is it possible to calculate the distance of a magnetic object with the magnetic field measured by a magnetometer CPT (irrespective of the object direction).
Is there some relation that exists which can be correlated with distance to the magnetic object and magnetic field measured?
Please help.

Is there some kind of relation that exists to calculate the distance from the CPT probe to the magnetic object(like explosives etc) with the magnetic field measured from the CPT?

I thought the answer was pretty obvious, but it's "NO," particularly if you are looking for explosives, specifically mines, since many modern mines are mostly non-magnetic. This is why they are so hard to remove after a war.
