Project: Government Warehouse / records storage. 75 x 150'.
18'h x 20" (10" back to back with no flue) solid shelving; 50'l x 6' centers with 42" isles. Currently there is a large dry system that will be converted to a wet. Gridded 6" with 2" lines, 3/4" ELO? spaced approximately 7' x 10'. Code calls for in rack or intermediate level sprinklers but the client uses a manlift to access and distibute files and it barely fits down the isles as is. Adding sprinkler piping is not a good option. We have looked at hi-pressure mist (ala Marriots Hi-Fog) but it's pretty pricey. Any suggestions for low pressure mist alternatives or something else?
Regards
