Hi there I am new to this forum and I would just like to say a Big hello..!! As my first post I would like to give all you cad users a little tip (not sure whether it has been posted before). If you ever want a quick way of purging all the rubbish off you’re drawings then WBLOCK the specified drawing into itself.
i.e. open the drawing you wish to purge, type wblock, select all of the drawing, save the wblock as the drawing you are in or as something else, depending upon what version of AutoCAD you are using. Close the drawing you have just created a world block of and when it prompts you to save changing say no. Re-open the drawing and you should find that all the unwanted, layers, blocks, linotypes etc. have all disappeared. (think that’s covered it all).
Cheers
