Hi,

We are using RF connector for our audio systems.
One of the specifications of the connector reads as follows.. " Resistance shall not exceed 0.6Dohm at 1 amp at each contact.
I need to know what this spec means and how to go about measuring this parameter. In fact this is the first time
I am hearing the unit "Dohm.

I haven't seen that term either. Just guessing, I would say that it is deci-ohms (x 0.1), or 0.06 ohms in your case. I doubt that it is critical if you are using these at audio frequencies.

60 milliohm around contacts do make sense and I
think your guestimation may be correct although I wouldnt go to the Bank of America to bank this. Anyway I dont
know why some suppliers use Dohm instead of just
0.06ohm or 60 milliohm.

How about "Dynamic"? When dealing with RF, most resistances change over frequency. I know that there are special resistors designed to be used at certain frequencies. However, 0.06 Ohms seems pretty low.

Just a thought.

Could be Dynamic resistance also!.
But I thought ordinary reistors(except wirewound) do not change their values unlike capacitors or inductors because they do not possess inductive or capacitive property. Please
bring some light to my ignorance.

Depending on the construction of the resistor, the presence of skin effect can be quite large over frequency. Unfortunately, I am not a RF guru, but have heard this problem stated by some co-workers.
