Hi

We have condenser water pump with VFD, wilo brand ,German made, head is 25 meter, physical height difference is around 50 meter from cooling tower to pump.The suction pressure is around 8kg/cm2 and discharge pressure is also similar like 8.25kg/cm2.Pumps rated current is 30amps but it is taking 15 amps and there is little flow in cooling tower and there is very little pressure difference across chiller.

Can anyone pls suggest, in this case what is the remedy?

Makes little sense. If height is 50M down from cooling tower how are you getting 8 bar suction?

Diagram please.

Maybe coupling is broken so no connection between motor and pump?
