Hide/show Via Rule

I am new to the whole knowledgeware process.
I need to to know if it is possible to hide/show components using a rule. I have tried the activity=true, false route, but that does not work.
Is there an command that willl allow me to do this in a rule?

PartBody .Show = true
else
PartBody .Show = false
