Hide views

Im using extra sheets in a drawing where i create reference views that i dont want in my main sheet. My problem is that this extra sheets is counted as sheet 2 of 2. A search in this forum gives me the information that i cannot stop this from being counted. As a way around this problem i thought i could make a view in the main sheet and then hide it but cannot find a good way of doing this.

If you have several of these sorts of views and if there's a chance that you may wish to see them again in the future, as an alternative you can create a 'scale' Expression and use it to control the size of one or more drawing views. After creating the Expression, select the view(s) of interest, press MB3, select style, go to the 'General' tab and you will find an option near the center of the dialog where you can select an Expression to control the scale of the view. Once this link has been created simply set the 'scale' Expression to a very small value, such as 0.000001, and your view will disappear but can easily be 'revived' by setting the 'scale' Expression back to it's original value.

or after the reference view is on the drawing move it outside the drawing boundry so it won't be seen (unless you zoomed back) or printed.

Ok, thanks i'll go with the "reduce boundaries" this time but will keep in mind the 'scale' expression if i in the future have to control several views in same drawing.
