Hiding drawing dimensions in the drafting 1

When making a sketch on a drawing in the drafting application (for instance, making a hash mark boundary), the only way I have been able to hide the dimensions of those sketches is by right clicking the sketch > Show/Hide > Hide Dimensions. The problem with this method is that if someone selects "Show All" at some point, every drafting sketch with hidden dimensions has to be reset.

I tried adding the dimensions to a different layer but got the following warning "Changing the layer for a sketch object is not persistent. The sketch object will be moved to the sketch layer when the sketch is modified."

Is there any other way to hide those dimensions without having them show up when the "Show All" feature is used?

1) Do you need to constrain the sketch or can it be "dimension less"?
( NX does not require fully constrained sketches)
2) one can "Suppress drafting objects" ( use the command finder)
first create a suppression expression such as "Suppressed_annotations = 0"
then start the "suppress drafting objects" , select the expression and select the dimensions + OK.

The only issue with the suppress feature is that if somebody else tries edit , there is no clue that these dims are made invisible.
( the dims are still working but invisible, you can change the expressions to update the sketch.

Edit :
The suppressed objects becomes temporarily visible when the Suppress dialog is on screen.

The more you know about a subject, the more you know how little you know about that subject.

You could, after making the sketch fully constrained with dimensions and constraints, delete the dims and constraints and make all of the entities in the sketch Fully Fixed. There's nothing extraneous to see anymore after doing that.

It would be preferred for the sketch to have hidden dimensions, but I will keep the fixed constraints approach in my back pocket. The "Suppress drafting objects" command is pretty close to my intention, so I will go with that for now. Thank you both for the suggestions!
