Hierarchy Tree Expanding

Is anyone else having a problem with the hierarchy tree expanding in an assembly whenever you rebuild, save or add mates? It's really bugging me!!

Yes. I've had that happen for a long time (several versions of SW). If you reduce the tree, then rebuild, it will expand. Reduce it again, then rebuild, and it will stay.

I think you'll find that is caused by having dependent geometry in features of parts which are in sub-assemblies of the parent assy. SW has to make several passes to update all dependent geometry. I have found it better to do a Ctrl-Q rather than a simple rebuild.
