Can anyone suggest a system that can effectively remove 8000mg/L to 30,000mg/L suspended clay particles from a mine water stream? The required flow rate would be in the ballpark of 500 gpm.
I have limited space constraints underground, and our best bet would be a multi-media filtration system. Various types of clarifiers have been reccomended, but are probably not suitable for underground application.
Does anyone have experience with high clay solids removal without a clarifier?
Thanks
