High Density Concrete

I'm an undergraduate student of University of Malaya, Malaysia. I'm currently doing a research on this special concrete - high density concrete. However, i found it hard to get any relevant information in my local libraries or even the internet. i'm hoping to get some info from overseas. Please assist me in searching for related information. Jeffrey,<br><br>I am a bearing guy. I am not a civil engineer so take this answer with a grain of salt. I might be completely off track but its my best shot.<br>For High density concrete you might try looking under gunite. Gunite is cement that is pneumatically applied under high pressure and hydrated at the last minute with minimal water. Since it is applied with very high pressure it is very dense (High Density). It also uses very little water and as a result is very strong and there is no mixing. It is reported to obtain strengths of 6,000 to 8,000 psi as opposed to 3,000 to 4,000. Also very dense rebar structures can be used since the gunite can easily fill the voids.
