I have been tasked with identifying the best practices to follow for managing the integrity of the steel pipe for HPFF pipe type cables. Is anyone aware of any standards that address the integrity of HPFF systems or know of any regulatory bodies in the US that provide guidance or requirements?

I work within the O&G industry and know of PHMSA/DOT for O&G pipelines, but HPFF systems would not fall into that category to my knowledge.

Many of our sites that have HPFF cable also have cathodic protection, if that is of any help.
