I'm searching information about High pressure stainless steel tubing.
I mean tubing with a maximum working pressure from 15kPSI to 60kPSI and a OD/ID ratio from 1.5/1 to 3/1.
I went through the main manufacturers of this tubing searching for information about code of calculation without results.
No one declare the calculation code adopted or the compliance to an international standard (ASTM, ASME ...)
Also no one declare mechanical property of material used.
Chapter IX of B31.3 gives indication for high pressure piping greater than class.2500 B16.5
My questions are:
Has on of you had experience in high pressure tubing ?
Does it make sense to use the Chapter IX ?
Why, in your opinion, manufacturers do not declare mechanical property ?
Main manufacturers as reference...
