High stength Pin material

What are some common steels used when you need a pin (2 1/2" dia. in this case) with a tensile ultimate strength of at least 120 ksi? I'm speaking of pins like those shown in the AISC ASD 9th ed. pg. 4-151.

While we're at it let's talk about allowable shear stress for such pins. AISC "Specifications for Structural Steel Buildings" section J3 is labeled "Bolt, Threaded Parts and Rivets" so technically it's silent on pins. Yes, section J8 addresses bearing stress on pins but not shear. So how do you determine the allowable shear stress on a pin?

My assumption is to go to Table 1-D and use the footnote there. Thus Fv = 0.22Fu,

where,
Fv = allowable shear stress
Fu = minimum tensile strength

Oh boy, now here's another probem. Fu is minimum tensile strength but my limited experience has been when your looking at some material that's not in the AISC manual like AISI 1141 you usually find typical properties not minimum. You can see from that last comment whay I'm eyeballing for a possible material for a pin. Anyway, my single question turned into a multipronged thing. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Try ASTM A354 Grade BD, it has Fu of 140ksi. I used this material for drilling rig pins of 3"-4" in diameter; and Fv=0.22Fu.
 
Another option is A193 Gr. B7. The tensile stress is 125 ksi minimum for diameters of 2.5" and under.
