Most of heavy industries and petrochemical High tension motors running in star connection only. I dont know any where hightension motors running through delta connections. If running star only, please give an idea about that

Makes it possible to have winding differential protection.

As David says,
"A delta connection makes it easy to have winding differential protection."
In North America it is common for the star point of star connected motors to be inaccessible and differential protection of a star connected motor generally requires a special order/build motor or a trip to the rewind shop to have the star leads brought out.
In IEC land where motors are commonly arranged for either star or delta connection this may not be an issue. It depends on local codes and practices.

Actually, Bill, I was saying that wye (star) makes differential easier. I'm guessing that by High Tensions, he means medium voltage and an external wye becomes much more common.

Yes i meaned it 6.6KV, induction motor, differential ct used in external box of motor. 1500Hp induction motor.
