I have a similar situación as the one mentioned before, A local power company wants to build a gasolina/diesel tank near a a high voltage (12,470 VAC) within 100 feet (mesuared from the top of the tank to the line of high voltaje). Is there a limitation of the lenght/height necessary in order to build this tank?. What document or article would clarify the proper distance from a hazardous area tank?

Hoping ths thread previously mensioned could helps us solve this problems.

A power company want's to build a gasoline tank? Or have you cut and pasted in the wrong order?

A hazardous area calculation can be undertaken using the electrical design codes ( I forget which one but search hazardous area calculation). But 100 ft is quite a long way. How tall is the power line?

A plan or drawing would help as would an edit of your OP as it is not clear what is there now - the tank or the power line.
