Highest yield strength for 1/16" diameter wire.

I am looking for wire in 1/16" diameter that has very high yield strength, but is also readily available. Is there something out there better than music wire?

Take a look at Mount Joy Rocket Wire. This is about the best you can do off the shelf.

Rocket wire is the ticket.
Just be careful with it, limited ductility.
If you pull a tensile test make sure that you have shielding. Not all of the sample will be there after fracture.
