We use several compressed air nozzles to clean our fiberboard (remove the dust on top of the panel prior to glueing)
The air consumption is so high, that a new compressor will be need if we continu with this wrong way of doing it.

Any idea for replacing those device?
High-ressure blower?
Turbo-compressor?
Any manufacturer?
Thanks
David

Checkout the products from this company. They have several different approaches to problems such as yours.
You should easily be able to cut your air consumption by half.

Would it be smarter to vacuum off ("hoover") the dust? Then it's trapped in a filter bag somewhere, and not just wafting around and settling back onto the next sheet in the stack.

I'm not an expert in fibreboard glueing, but some issues with vacuum vs. air systems:

Vacuum is limited in its pressure. A compressed air system can generate more pressure than 15 psi.

I am guessing that the issue is not so much a lot of dust, just dust on the boards to be glued. It would be tough to keep all the dust of the boards, so one would need to de-dust anyway.
