The art of beeing an engineer is not to know all answers, but to know where to find them, and how to ask the correct questions.

When I was an unexperienced engineer I was adviced by an older engineer to ask for advice from my superiors in this way:

Never ask a general question. Do your own research as far as you can. Propose one or several solutions. List pro and cons. Give your ranking and technical comments of solutions. Propose further actions or ways to tackle unsolved questions. List unanswered questions.
Then you ask for advice.

(VFT? All process, fluid, application and flow data? Operation type? If you ask two reliable suppliers for quote based on this info you would probably get more technical information and be able to form a more precise formulated question. Again: check forum policy. This is a technical forum, not suited for questions on a general (and commercial/marketing) basis.)

To build on what gehardl is saying: It would help if you started off by writing down what are your temperature, pressure, time, and length and diameter of piping (or tubing) that your experiment needs. You also should consider the number of valves and overall arrangement. This could be called "specifying your parameters." For example, look at how the question in thread408-341781 was phrased. Once you've figured out your parameters, try doing a search on some of the manufacturers you've mentioned to see if they sell valves, fittings and tubings that fit within your parameters. Then come back, with a sketch and show us where you're going and ask some more directed questions.

Everyone on here was new once. We're usually happy to help people learn.
