History / Log files in NX 7.5

Hi there,

I was wondering if there is a way in manipulating the log/history files in NX 7.5. I would like to put timestamps for every log line that is entered and perhaps put pointers for every new part that is created.

What purpose would that serve? Log files are temporary for each session of NX you start.

I was thinking of trying to monitor the user's actions by extracting the log file. It would be easier if I manage to get timestamps and so check the time needed to complete certain tasks.
 
You should probably look into some of the add-on modules available from the company which provides us with our licensing tools for NX. Since the license system is really the place where activity is being monitored and recorded, this is where you should concentrate when looking for information such as this. I would recommend that you at least look at what the License Log files are already collecting as data and then consider contacting the license software vendor for a review of the add-on admin tools which they offer:
