Hi,

I can obain an history output of a displacement of a node defined but not MISES or something other than displacement:

1. I define (step>tools>set) one point (in one node)
2. Step>output>history output requests>set name (the point) and I chose the displacement (U3 for example)
3. when I go to vizualisation>result>history output, I can plot the displacement of the node >>> ok

But I can't do the same with MISES. I follow the same procedure and in result, MISES of the node doesn't appear!

I don't understand why...

Thanks to all (for the other answers)!

You can request, but won't get S in history output if your set is just a node. You need it to be output for an element...

Anyway, there's a real easy way to get what you want. In Visualization, just choose "Tools - XY Data - Create" or use the icon if you know what it looks like.

Then use source as ODB Field Output.

Choose position as "unique nodal" (or whatever) then appropriate S component (e.g Mises). On the next tab you choose the Pick from Viewport then choose the appropriate node on the model.

Have fun!

Hit "plot".
