Hit Temp heat exchanger

What do you feel a plate and frame or tube style heat exchanger will react with Hastelloy at 1400F? or Higher.

there are several issues to review.

high temperature corrosion is one. Fouling of the surface is another, depending on the working fluid. Fatigue and creep-fatigue effects may also need be considered.
 
Plate and Frames have what I call a 300/300 threshold.

That is 300°F and 300 Psig. BUT not at the same time.

Therefore, your temperature greatly exceeds the capacity of the standard gasketed type P&F.
