HL-93 Truck Tire Loading 1

Hi,

Just a quick question: are the loads in AASHTO HL-93 Truck Loading factored? or do we need to factor them?

AASHTO HL-93 Truck Loading:
P1 = 8 kips @ x = 0
P2 = 32 kips @ x = 14 ft
P3 = 32 kips @ x = 28 ft (min)

Those are unfactored loads, to be used in combination with the AASHTO load combinations.

Don't forget that HL-93 also includes a uniform lane load.

Thanks Lo! Sure, there is an additional lane load of 0.64 kips/ft.
