Hi,
I need a help.
In my company we measure the hole by comparator, so the worker take the piece from the machine after grinding and measure the hole.
I want to measure the piece without disassembling it from the machine.
I thought about a screen touch, and microscope which give me a picture about the hole and then I can measure it on the screen.
Today (See the attached picture) there is the machine which rotate the part and a horizontal microscope give us a live picture on a regular screen.
but when we want to measure the hole in the part we measure on a comparator.
Is there another solution of measuring like using touch screen etc ...

A pin gage is the "gold standard". A hole is only as big as the cylinder it will accept. Usually, all other types of measurements of diameter are only considered 'indicators' of the hole diameter, and are superceeded by the pin gage measurement.
