I am trying to use the hole series (NX6) to fasten a number of the same blocks (5 total) to a singular block. I am only getting the tapped holes for one block in the receiving block instead of all 5. I am using the command in the assembly context...but no luck...What am i doing wrong?...Thanks Fred

Let's get a better understqnding of what you are trying to accomplish... you want 5 tapped holes in-line through 5 separate components?

No...let me try this...
Asmbly "a" is the main assembly
block "b" and base "c" are components

I have block "b" and its mounted to base "c"
There are 5 of block "b" and one of base "c"

I want to cbore block "b"' and tap base "c"

while working in Asmbly "a" and using the hole series command (selection scope "within work part and components") I select the top face of one of the block "b"'s and the base "c" for the tap.

While the cbore is showing up in all the block "b"'s only one tap is showing up in base "c" (the one i started with)

How many holes have you put in base c?
Since you have 5 block B's, they will all show the holes as it is a single part.
You still need to define the other 4 holes in base C.

Thanks...I though maybe I can get lucky and all tapped holes would apply being that the all 5 of the blocks are mating to the same component.

If these blocks are 'stacked' so that a single 'hole' passes through the entire stack, the only segment which can be threaded is the last one. You can't have more than ONE threaded segment in a hole series.
