Hole table accuracy 3

Done some searching on this but to no avail. I've been asked to increase the accuracy on my hole table: I currently have a figure of 25 - let's say - and want 25.00.

I went to doc properties > tables > hole > trailing zeroes and set to 'show' but still have no trailing zeroes. Also checked under units and I have got it set to 2 decimal places.

Any ideas?

Also on the subject of accuracy, but bend notes this time: is it possible to make the default 90.00 (for eaxmple) just 90?

Hit Tools, and Options, then select the Document Properties tab. For Trailing zeros, you have selected either "Standard", "Smart" or "Remove". Select "Show".

The current standards for GD&T require that you show the trailing zeros on metric dimensions. I apply tolerances or feature control frames to each and every metric dimension I apply. This takes minutes per drawing, unless there is sometime wrong. If there is something wrong, then I have spotted it and I can deal with it.

As I said, that's what I've already done, sorry! Still no trailing zeroes (much to the annoyance of my boss who's checking the drawings). It's the same for all the tables I've generated, and I've tried generating a new table after making the settings change... you guessed it, no zeroes.

Anyone?
 
Ah, hang on... you mean set the trailing zeroes for the WHOLE DOCUMENT. My mistake - I thought it would be possible to set it for the table alone, but it seems not! Thankyou, now sorted.

Anyone for the fold line accuracy question?
 
It is possible to set the hole table PRECISION. Accuracy is another matter ;-)
As you insert the table you see a square in the upper left corner. Select that and a property tab opens. You can set, among other things, the table precision.
You can also click on columns and rows to change things to suit yourself.

Since the bend angle appears in a special drawing note and not as a separate dimension the only way I see to control the display of its precision (not accuracy) is by changing the properties for that drawing. See the attached image. This will affect the display of all the angles that appear on the drawing. However, for any angles that are not in a bend note you can individually override them to display as many decimal places you want.

Perhaps you can set the document properties of a sheet metal drawing to display "None" for the angles and then save this as a template for sheet metal drawings. We have separate drawing templates for sheet metal and machined parts. Besides this difference in display of angle precision we have different standard notes already on the drawings. It really speeds things up and makes for better drawing quality.

Apologies for the grammatical inaccuracy. Or was that precision? ;)

This all stems from using decimal places as a means of tolerancing. We have as a standard on our borders:

0DP = +/- 0.5mm
1DP = +/- 0.25mm
2DP = +/- 0.1mm
Angular = +/- 0.5deg

He sees 2DP and automatically thinks, "wow, do we really need that level of accuracy?!"

I think I'll leave it and go with the opinion that a) it's an angle and therefore only needs to be within 0.5deg b) it sounds like a faf to override something that's automated and therefor takes NO time!
