Holes around a cylindrical form, is it possible?

Hi I am working on a project and the designer got inspired by the Bose speaker (see the link)

how is it possible to mold such parts ? I'am talking about the holes around that cylindrical-conical shape! thank you in advance

yes it's probably the case but how they put the holes ? are they machined ?

Eight slides over the core. Then coated/painted to hide the subsequent split lines and weld lines.
This appears to have been coated/painted.
