Hello,
I was wondering whether someone here can help me figuring out how ABAQUS composes the material stiffness matrix for composite solid elements. I studied the available manuals without real success.
I am using a UMAT which calculates instantaneous Engineering constants for a single ply. Within one element I compose four plies in a [0,90]s layup.
Basically I got the following questions:

[li]How does ABAQUS homogenizs a composite solid element which contains more than one ply[/li]
[li]Is there any method available in ABAQUS to get an output of the instantaneous material stiffness matrix D_ijkl (similar to *element matrix output?)[/li]
[/ol]
