I need to determine which infiltration method to use for some EPA SWMM models I have. I have a few different models that already have Green-Ampt or Hortons methods being used. I want to try and determine which gives a more accurate representation, but am having difficulty on figuring out how to do this.

For all of the models with Green-Ampt, the parameters have a suction head of 3.5 in, conductivity of 0.5 in/hr and an initial deficit of 0.25. For the models with Horton, a max infiltration rate of 3.0 in/hr, min infiltration rate of 0.5 in/hr, decay constant of 4/hr, drying time of 7 days, and max volume of 0 in were used.

I am assuming that the different areas in all of the models will use these same parameters, but do you guys have any recommendations on how to determine which method will give a more accurate result? I realize that there is no black and white answer, but any feedback would be greatly appreciated.
