I recently encounter the difficulties on hot compressing molding(lower cost) about surface defects and pinhole.
like the schematic:
This product need the good looking on surface so i design the 3k carbon woven prepreg as my top layer. Due to the depth of the mold, the top surface looking good. On the bottom side, there have some pinhole,i think the air trap in the bottom on both side. Does there any way to figure this problem?
Hope someone can help me thanks!

Another question, the oven cure or autoclave manufacturing way all can decide on temperature curve and like some Boeing assurance certified limit the curve of the raising/cooling temperature. But on the compression molding, what experience can i use to achieve the similar quality.I think the raising/cooling temperature is important to bigger part ,but does it really matter to small part, how does it effect on hot compression molding.
