Hi every one!

Im have a problem with Gas flowing through porous material, for example dolomit Layer with 4mm granularity. In filter chamber.

Im using the "Ansys CFD" program and I dont know solution for this type of examples.

I will be very happy if I receive solution.

Thnx. Laci H.

Hi pmover!

I need simulated: inlet gas with 450 °C entered to the bottom of the cylinder through porouse dolomite layer. This dolomite have 4 mm granularity. The cylinder is heated to 1000 °C. I want simulated pressure loss in this cylinder, flow velocity and heat transfer from cylinder surface to inside volume. diameter of cylinder is 250 mm, height of cylinder is 2000 mm, dolomite height is 1600 mm. Volume of inlet gas is 30 m3/h. this system is turbulent flow.
cylinder is made from rustless steel.

Im begineer in this program and I make until simply heat transfer in the wall only.

thank you for your compliancy

Bye! LaciH
