Hot Rivet Strength 4

Does anybody know how to determine rivet shear strength for 7/8 inch hot rivets (or rivet properties in general) installed in 1915?

Rocks1, see table below. This is from my copy of "Structural Engineers's Handbook", Milo Ketchum - 2nd edition circa 1918.

The scan quality was crap for some reason - if you need any info from the table that isn't clear, just let me know.

I don't have access to it right now, but AASHTO MBE also provides a codified value for rivet shear strength.

Hi,

Why don't you use and FEA software and use a rivet connector or approximate using a Bolt with a nut ?
You can get all the properties you need.
Your assembly is simple or very complex?
