I'm studying the possibility to execute two 32" hot taps on the old concrete pipe headers dia.1600 mm of sea water supply/return. This to avoid the drainage of the whole system. The concrete pipes are "Bonna" concrete pipes with 9.5mm internal steel plate as reinforcement. The pipes were installed on 1980. Maybe someone has experience on the feasibility of this particular tie-in.
