hot tapping for H2S VALVES

Dear all Good day,
We are here in gas plant in the middle east. Our case is that we have two 36"valves passing on gas Inlet Pipeline(the gas contains H2S). Now I have asked to prepare SOW to the assigned contractor to do hot tapping and repair the valves passing. could you please help me preparing this SOW? Or where should I pay attention mostly?

You have given minimum detail.

What you want to do with piping? Provide a bypass and then take the section out of the service which has got the Passing valves?

1 - Define a strategy what you want to do.
2 - Gather all concerned in a meeting (or meetings) and have a concurrence on the strategy.
3 - Discuss mainly with operation, maintenance and process.
4 - Discuss the problem with the (company approved) Hot tapping contractors. Take their opinion.
5 - Check your company specs about the tie-ins and hot tapping.
6 - Know all your company procedures like PTWs etc.
7 - Write up the scope summarizing your requirements. Mention all precautions, considerations, activities, the contractors need to do.
8 - Circulate the SOW to all concerned and ....

The bulk of your focus should be on safety. H2S is an extremely hazardous material. If at all possible, lobby to empty and purge this line before you perform this exercise.
