hot tin dip

does the mixture of solder,ie.60/40,70/30 have an adverse effect on the visual aspect of the surface in question,some look better than others although the process was done,or is it the process itself,more than one process...

are you considering hot dip vs electroplated or electroless tin? Typical parts are electroplated using essentially pure tin such as the process described by ASTM 545. If you want a uniform bright shiny finish consider electrodeposited tin that is deposited using organic brightners or is reflowed by dipping in hot oil.

If you are talking about dipping in solder then the alloy should have a minimal effect on the visual results. The process and cooling rate vs thickness will be more important.
