I have a problem with a room wall that is very warm (115 deg F). The room design temperature is 77 deg F. The wall is adjacent to a open feedwater heater/turbine building (FWH). The wall facing the FWH can reach 135 deg F. The room wall is a small area 10ft x 12ft and is approximately in the middle of this large turbine building wall. The wall is concrete and rebar construction and approx. two ft thick. What is required is some type of curtainwall or insulation that will bring the inside wall surface temperature down to approx. 80 deg F. Due to small room size insulation thickness is limited to 2 inches. In addition, the FWH side of the wall is to large and congested to be considered practical to insulate. Can anyone provide direction for some type "off the shelf" solution for this problem? I am trying to stay away from a science project.
