I don't see a plumbing forum, so don't where to ask this question besides here.
There is a bar area in a residential community assisted living center. There is no dishwasher, but there is a 3 comp sink. They say no washing will take place there (in spite of their being a 3 comp sink). There is an adjacent building that is connected via a walkway. This adjacent building is served off a totally different hot water system. Typically I would supply 140 F to this bar area because of the 3 comp sink, but they are requesting this be served off a 120 F line serving the residential units. If this bar is to be served off 140 F, it would require a dedicated 140 hot water and return line, lot of extra piping.
Would you think this is acceptable? The local jurisdiction authority gave a vague response and didn't if 120 F was a problem.
Thank for any feedback.
