I was wondering if there is a way to continuously spin a model/assembly, for presentation purposes? SW2005.

Thanks.

Save the assemly/model as an E-Drawings. Once in E-Drawings you can press continous play and it will show all ortho views

You can show a part rotating using only SW if you want. You can enable the Simulation toolbar and there you can apply a Rotary motor. After applying the motor you can record and play back the motion. You can apply both a rotary and a linear at the same time if you need to show motion while rotating.

You can also just use the arrow keys to rotate the model, then record a macro of this function.

I remember a utility that would continuously rotate a model about a pre-selected X, Y or Z that was available a long time ago from a SolidWorks VAR called GoEngineer. (GoEngineer.com)
