Hello everyone,
First post on Eng-Tips! I'd appreciate some guidance on this issue.
Many of you may know that Catia offers different sets of weld symbols according to the standard you choose when creating a CATDrawing.
So my question is how can I call for a weld type only available in ISO in an ASME drawing and vice versa?
My particular issue is with flare bevel welds and flare V welds. The Catia online documentation suggests using two different weld symbols to call for the same weld type (picture and link below). Those two symbols are both shown in ISO-2553 with different names, so I'm not sure how to go forward.
Your help will be greatly appreciated!
