Hi,

I am new user of Solid Edge. I have SE version 19. My work requires to draw simple 2D drawings, which I can draw easily on Solid Edge sheets. I can print the current display or print area from sheets, which are obviously not according to the true scale of physical items.
I need to know how can I print my 2-D drawings on 1:1 scale?

Thanks

Is your geometry bigger than your sheet size? If so, change the sheet size under File-Sheet Setup so that it is larger than the geometry. Then print Active Sheet and make sure your printer paper size matches the Solid Edge sheet size.

Sounds like you should be using the model sheet to do your actual geometry creation.

You can then pick the appropriate sheet size format, create the appropriate views at 1:1 (or other scales as need be) and dimension there.

Basically it allows you to create views from 2D information, not just 3D model.

If you literally just need a 1:1 printout of a sketch do print area, when the box comes up set paper length equal to design length (i.e. to 1). This will then print out the selected area 1:1. I can't remember what it does if the design area is too big for the paper selected.

I got it, it works for smaller geometry on letter size paper on standard printer and I suppose it will work too on plotter for larger geometry.
