How can i override a dimension in drafting?

Hi
i have a drawing with some dimensions and have to replace dimension texts with letters such as A, B and so on.
in dimensions setting and "text>format" it is possible to change the dimension but i cant get rid of diameter and radius symbol and letters
how can i override dimension entirely?

In the settings of your Radial or Diameter dimensions, Set symbol to User Defined and then remove the Symbol to Use entry.

Hello,

You can also do this by:

menu -> edit -> annotation -> text

then select dimension and change it by letter.

The question was about removing the R or the diameter symbol.
You can also do this with your suggestion but then you need to replace the symbol with a space.
The solution I proposed you can remove it completely.
