Hi,
Problem definition:
I'm simulating a thrust bearing with 10 balls. I modeled geometry of bearing and unable to run static equilibrium when there is contact between the different object initially. So I provided some space between them so that they will come in contact with each other due to gravity when I stat dynamic or static simulation. Now what I want to do is as follows:
1) Run a quasi static simulation for some time to allow all the parts settle down due to gravity.
2) from the end point of above static simulation, I want to run a dynamic simulation.
How can perform number 2 step in ADAMS/View using GUI (I'm new to MSC ADAMS and can only use GUI)
What I want to know:
How to start a dynamic simulation in continuation to a quasi static simulation?
