How can you save your settings? 2

Anyone knows how can you save your Options (in the Tools menu) settings (in SW 2000 and 2001) as a scheme that you find by default (or at least can load) anytime you start a new part or assy, or more settings schemes that you can load as you need? I mean for both the System Options and Document Properties.

You can´t save a profile for options. Solidworks save the defaults only in the "System Options". Everytime when you initialize SW, it load the settings for you. For Document Properties, you can´t save a profile, SW does not do that. You can save the template and then load it.

Sorin,

If you goto your SW directory there is a .exe file that copies your options for you.

Goto EX:
C:\Program Files\Solidworks\setup\i386\copyoptwiz.exe

This should do the trick for you.

Thanks guys, problem cleared up.
Timoteo cleared up the fact that for the Document Options the templates are the only way to go, SBaugh highlighted a way to deal with the System Options, even over a network.
