How considered Pu/Po<0.35

I am reading manual of Etabs for designing SHEAR WALL of building and I am finding the condition: Pu<0.35P0;

Manual says: if Pu>0.35P0, -> not check for shear wall;

I have reading ACI standard but I could nt find the provision as above previous;

I would like to be consultan above this problem; be provided name of document say about this problem; what provision of current standards rule?
