Hi Everyone,

Just a simple question I hope you wil be able to help me with, I am really interested in learning Primavera I think it will be a massive help to me in my career but I have 2 problems 1. Access to Primavera and 2. I dont want to spend a fortune on training I was lucky that my company were willing to help me gain my Prince2 qualification and I dont want to push my luck!

I have just ordered a book off Amazon but this is not going to help me with practical experience are there any tutorials or ANYTHING that might be useful?

Thanks

Laura

Laura,

Primavera has a good User's Manual available in pdf format on their website. The website address is You must have your Primavera Serial Number to obtain the data, so I suggest you have that in advance.

I have been using the Primavera scheduling software for approximately 12 years and the latest version (5.0) is the best. Primavera also has training courses available in CA and Philly, but they are pretty expensive and were not catered to our industry. In other words, the training was pretty generic.

My company had a group training course about 1-1/2 years ago at a location near one of our offices and we had one of their approved trainers conduct the training (again, pretty generic). I have been conducting the training courses in-house ever since then for both scheduling (Primavera Project Management 5.0) and project controls (Expedition 10.1).

I hope this helps.

Pam
