HOW CAN I ADD A LOGO VIEW FROM SHEET 2 ONTO THE DRAWING ON SHEET 1?

First, you have to creat a new detail sheet. (icon is called "new detail sheet") It's a little white rectangle, with a circle in the uppe left corner. You find it by pulling down the "new sheet" icon, which is a plain white rectangle.

Next, you use the function called "instantiate 2D component." The icon is a little blue circle with 3 arrows, pointing to 3 red circles.

This will allow you to reuse details from your detail sheet.

Where did you get your file from, ask your CATIA admin as the picture may not be easy to select...

I HAVE TRIED TO INSTANTIATE THE DETAIL VIEW - CATIA KEEPS ASKING ME TO SELECT COMPONENT EVEN AFTER I HAVE SELECTED THE DETAIL(HIGHLIGHTED).

COPY PASTE WILL THROW THE OBJECT AT 0,0,0 WITH A VERY LARGE VIEW BORDER TO INFINITY.

CATIA ADMIN? I APPEAR TO BE SELF TRAINING FOR THAT POSITION

hit the Caps Lock key, it adds IQ points

Your boss should consider about giving you some kind of admin training. The money he will "save" for not training you might ends as the money he is losing because of wrong methodologies.
