Here is my problem:
i have two surfaces in contact and i m evaluating the contact pressures for several coefficient of firctions.
For low coefficient of frictions i see a penetration between the two surfaces generating a peak of stress
can u tell me how to avoid this penetration?

Thank YOU

Make the mesh size equal on both surfaces or define two contact definitions making each surface both slave and master.

Penalty method for enforcing contact allows for penetrations.
You need to use the direct enforcement if want to see no penetration.

I have a problem of penetration between two rigid surfaces.
I defined the contact as a kinematic contact but the problem is that this type of contact does not work for a rigid rigid contat.
can u tell me how to solve this problem

thank you
